New Mural at Hebron HQ Celebrates Klosterman’s History and Heritage

We love being able to celebrate the 130+ year history of Klosterman Baking Company — and recently, we celebrated in a major way with the unveiling of a brand-new mural in the front entrance of our flagship bakery in Hebron, KY.

Standing 19 feet tall by 16 feet wide, this incredible piece of artwork was created to commemorate Klosterman’s rich history and heritage, in addition to emphasizing our company’s dedication to the craft of baking and continuing commitment to excellence.

The mural also serves as a great reminder of where we’ve been and makes our Hebron headquarters feel a bit more like “home.” In 2024, our corporate headquarters moved from our historic location on Paddock Road in Cincinnati to our 200,000-square-foot bakery in Hebron due to the continued growth of our team and company. Thankfully, our good friends at Sixteen Bricks were able to move into our former space, ensuring it will be kept in the baking industry for some time to come.

The same spirit of unity within the baking industry is also one of the foundations for our new mural. Combining industrial aesthetics with the elegance of art deco, the mural’s design evokes our shared baking heritage in process and production, with a warm and vibrant feeling that is at the heart of The Klosterman Way.

The design and execution of the mural was completed by local artist Ben Harrison, also known as Zaxerl. Ben has created hundreds of murals nationwide and more than 20 across the Greater Cincinnati region, including several in Northern Kentucky communities such as Covington, Fort Thomas, and Newport. We can’t thank Ben enough for his hard work on this stunning piece of art that will be enjoyed by our associates and guests for generations to come. We’d also like to thank our friends at New Water Capital, our private equity partner, for investing in our continued growth and success, including the renovations at our Hebron bakery that made this project possible.
